Childhood Cancer Project

Lions Clubs of Ireland have launched a partnership with Childhood Cancer Ireland to bring another Lions Clubs International Global cause to Ireland and support hundreds of families in our communities affected by childhood cancer. Cobh Lions Club have committed to supporting this cause and Childhood Cancer Project.

Who are Childhood cancer project : Childhood Cancer Ireland is the national parent and survivor-led charity representing the voice of children and young people with cancer, survivors and their families.  The charity was established in 2014 to help ease the burden of diagnosis and treatment on children and their families by raising funds to provide practical and emotional supports.

What: Spinathon from 10am to 6pm

Amount Raised: €4000.00

Cobh Lions Club would like to thank all those within our community who generously donated to this cause on the day. Cancer effects every community and has no boundaries when it comes to age. We at Cobh Lions were very happy to be part of the fundraising for this very worthy charity.
